Modern Quilt Guild Challenge--Madrona Road

Yay! Fabric for #dcmodern for the @violetcraft Madrona Road Challenge arrived today! Thanks @theMQG

Doesn't this look like fun? I received several yards of Madrona Road in the mail today for our participation in the Modern Quilt Guild's Madrona Road Challenge. Not sure what I'm talking about? Basically, you get 5 prints and 1 solid to make a project out of--anything you want! You can add more Madrona Road fabrics or solids, but that's it. If you are interested in participating, please send us an email at dcmodquilts at gmail dot com. There are ten slots, and it is first come first serve, with preference given to members who have come to guild meetings this year.

We will have a Show and Share in February at our Sewing Saturday: Save the Date!

February 18 16th (Saturday - good catch Frederick!)
1:30-4:30
Capital Quilts
Gaithersburg, MD

I will have the fabric packs for you at this Saturday's Sewing Saturday at the Westover Library in Arlington, or you can paypal shipping and I'll ship them to you.

Thanks!
Katie

Fine Print: If you would like to have your project eligible to hang in Michael Miller's booth at an upcoming industry event, the deadline is January 31--if not, please just have it finished for our show and share at the guild meeting. Also, originally the fabric was supposed to be cut into F8s. Due to receiving less fabric than I requested and more interest than I expected, I cut the bundles smaller so everyone could participate. Thanks!
