Hi Everyone!
Reminding you of this Saturday's meeting at the Watha T. Daniel/ Shaw Library (1630 7th St. NW, Washintgon, DC 20001) from 12:30-3:30. The library is Metro accessible via the Shaw-Howard station on the green/yellow line.
To get in the holiday spirit, we'll be holding a Yankee Gift Swap - If you would like to participate, please bring a $10, sewing-related, wrapped gift. (Please only bring purchased items, not handmade!)
For show-and-tell, it would be especially nice if we could bring things we have made as gifts for the holidays (you do have all your holiday gifts finished, right ?!!) but any projects are welcome of course.
If you are so inclined, feel free to bring holiday cookies and treats to share!
Since this is a shorter meeting and many of us will be taking the Metro, I'm going to suggest hand projects for the free sewing time. But, if you are feeling hardcore and want to bring your machine for some serious sewing, you are more than welcome to do so!
