Crafty Happy Hour at NMWA

An event of interest in DC; hope some of our members and followers can go and enjoy this!

What?                  NMWA Nights: Wine, Twine, and Valentine
When?                 Wednesday, February 12, from 5-8 p.m.
Where?               National Museum of Women in the Arts, 1250 New York Avenue, Washington, DC

Explore your crafty side during this happy hour event! Try your hand at textile-inspired crafts while sipping some wine and listening as DJ India (DJ India & Euphoria DC Events, Madam’s Organ resident DJ) spins. Take inspiration from the exhibition “Workt by Hand”: Hidden Labor and Historical Quilts and, depending on your mood, join a themed tour of the museum’s collection: “Love Hurts” or “Love is a Many Splendored Thing.”

Reservations recommended but not required. Tickets are $20 for general admission; $18 for members, seniors, and students. Ticket price includes two glasses of wine, beer, or soda and all craft materials. Visit http://nmwa.org/feb-12-nmwa-nights for more information.

Please note this event is 21+. IDs will be checked at the door.
