We hope you can join us for a fun day of charity sewing and chatting and shopping at Capital Quilts in Gaithersburg this Saturday, March 26th! We'll meet from 10am to 4pm in their new Handi Quilter room and the business meeting will start after lunch around 1:00 or 1:30pm. The room will only have spots for about 15 people to set up with machines so those spots will be first-come-first-served and be sure to bring along plenty of hand-work or non-machine projects to work on in case the tables are full. Lynne (and Alyson, by proxy) will be coordinating the charity sewing focus of this meeting. You can see her about obtaining a fabric pack to start a charity quilt with or about contributing to aspects of any works in progress.
And, for those of you who participated in the Capital Swap with the Ottawa MQG, if you plan to come on Saturday, would you bring along your received mini quilts to share at show and tell? Everyone would love to ooh and aah over them! :-)
