The linky party for 100 Quilts for Kids ends on October 15, a week from today! If you are working on a quilt, you have plenty of time to finish it, donate it, and link up a picture of your quilt (from flickr, your blog, or another source). Don't forget, the quilt can be made either explicitly as part of this effort, or as part of any of the other great charity drives out there--Margaret's Hope Chest, Phoenix [Wildfire] Quilts, Bumble Beans Basics, do. Good Stitches, Siblings Together, and more!
The DC Modern Quilt Guild is donating quilts to the Capital Hill Pregnancy Center as a group. You are welcome to bring your quilt to the October 13 Guild Meeting (I won't be there--Lexi is your point person), or donate them on your own. There are some fun prizes up for grabs! Also an important reminder-- if it rains, please meet at Teaism (400 8th St NW)!
