Friday Flickr Favorites & Guild Meeting Tomorrow

My Jasmine Tea plus Liberty

Introducing Jasmine Tea, designed by our friend and guild member, Jessie Aller!! Jessie is a designer for In the Beginning Fabrics, and her new line is now available for purchase. I have to say that anytime you design something that pairs that  well with Liberty, well, that's pretty awesome! Congrats, Jessie!!! [I realize there is an abundance of exclamation points in this post, but they are completely warranted. ~Katie]

Also, don't forget that there is a DC Modern Quilt Guild Meeting tomorrow. Come for the entire time, or just a short time. If you have sent an email about the Madrona Road challenge and heard back, your fabrics will be there for pickup.

When: Saturday, December 8
Where: Westover Library, Arlington, 12:30-4:45
What: Sewing Day

Don't forget your fabric for the Quilt Con charity quilt. We are hoping everyone can bust out an improv block (or 2), or make one to bring with you.

The Westover Library is a really great space--plenty of tables and outlets for all. There is easy parking and we always have a lot of fun. Plus, its a block from the Lost Dog Cafe, so you can grab a delicious lunch if you would like.

Please SIGNUP to bring one of the following:
Ironing Board and Iron
Cutting mat, rotary cutter, and rulers
snacks (just kidding. sort of)

If you signed up on the original post, then just bring what you said you could. Thanks!
