August Meeting Recap

We had a blast at this month's meeting at Capital Quilts! 
First our resident expert Meli gave a tutorial on machine paper piecing,

Then there was much show and tell:

Show and tell gave way to shopping, and block kits were handed out for September's Charity Sewing Event. 


We were so happy that former president Elle made it back to her first meeting as a new mom, bringing along the best show and tell of the day:

And we were able to present her with the baby quilt we made for little Miles as a group!  It was so much fun working on this quilt with everyone! 

Our next meeting is the Charity Sewing Event hosted by Katie of Swim, Bike, Quilt! on September 28th at the Arlington Central Library from 10-4.  See you then!
