100 Quilts for Kids Blog Hop and Meeting Recap

Welcome to our next stop on the DC Modern blog hop. This month and next, we're featuring some of our guild members and the charity quilts they are donating as part of the 100 Quilts for Kids quilt drive.

Today we are visiting Alyson, who blogs at The Hasty Quilter. You can find her post here, and some of the previous stops on our tour below:

Also, our group has had a couple events this month that we wanted to share a bit about. Earlier in the month, a group of us met at Finch Sewing Studio for a sewing day, and in many cases a little shopping! Nicole has a beautiful space that is so welcoming, and I was glad so many of us made the trip out there. Here are some photos of the day and our show and tell.

This past Saturday, we had our regular meeting at Capital Quilts. It was a smaller meeting, but we were very pleased to welcome some new faces! We hope to see more of you in the future!

Dana did a great tutorial on continuous bias binding, and I think demystified the process for many of us! Here are some photos from the day, including our Michael Miller challenge projects.
