This is your reminder of this Saturday's events; Betz White (whose new book Present Perfect; 25 Gifts to Sew and Bestow was just released this week!) will be leading a workshop on her lovely and giftable Cosmos Infinity Cowl from 10:15-1:00, then we're having our general meeting from 1:30- 4:30 with a trunk show from Betz at 2:00. Both events are at Capital Quilts in Gaithersburg.
It's not too late to sign up for the workshop; cost is $35 members/$40 non-members. Email if you're interested.
Trunk show is free for members (and new members and trial members, so if you've been thinking about checking out the guild, now's a good time!) Looking forward to seeing you there!
In other news, Heather will be doing a final collection of 100 Quilts for Kids charity quilts on Saturday; she's really close to her goal of 100, so if you have a quilt to donate please bring it and help put her over the top!
Also, Kristina H has generously offered to coordinate this year's QuiltCon charity quilt, and will be distributing fabric to those interested in participating on Saturday (we can mail for those of you who can't attend.)
