February Monthly Meeting

The February Monthly meeting was at the Westover Branch Library in Arlington, VA.  Lynne presented a wonderful tutorial with 6 different methods for making the flying geese block.  We had our famous show and tell which you can see here in case you missed it.  This month was also the first of our 2019 MQG Third Thursday Block Challenge.  Participants were entered into a raffle for some fat quarters.  You know one can never have too much fabric!  The charity quilt assembled at this meeting was definitely a group effort and came out beautifully.  Don't forget to bring your charity quilts to the March 9 meeting at the Chevy Chase library.   We'll be taking photographs to capture all of the amazing charity quilts to be donated in April.

Thank you Lynne for a very informative tutorial on flying geese!
The handout and more info can be found here.
