We are looking forward to seeing you at the Chevy Chase Library on Saturday (NOT the Chevy Chase Neighborhood Library - this is not the right place)! Remember to bring your machine, project, power cords, extension cords, cutting mats & irons and ironing board to share. This will be our first meeting at this library! Walkable food options are limited, but the library is just over a mile from downtown Bethesda.
Continuous Bias Binding Tutorial: Anjeanette Klinder will be there to give us a tutorial on continuous bias binding - our most requested tutorial! Anjeanette offers a neat take on the technique that can make the process go faster. Tutorial at 3:00pm or immediately following show and tell!
Show & Tell Sign Up: The business meeting will be at 1:30pm, followed immediately by Show & Tell. Sign ups worked well at our last meeting and we'd like to keep the momentum going! There will be a sign up near the door when you arrive. Please sign up and take a show & tell form. These will help us to get the details of your makes right when we post them on the blog. Note: if you do not want your makes shown on the blog, please note that on your form.
Charity Quilts: If you have charity quilts ready to go, please bring them to the meeting. Elle will be there to collect in preparation for our Comfort Cases packing day on April 6th. Speaking of which, you can now use this form to RSVP! If you need something or have a charity questions, please contact Elle.
Third Thursday Challenge Blocks: Bring them, we want to see them! Everyone who brings a block will be entered into the prize drawing. And remember, the end goal is a quilt so you have time to catch up for the grand prize at the end of the year! The block this time is Sparrow and can be found on the MQG website.
