I'm just reminding everyone of our meeting this Saturday at Capital Quilts, 15926 Luanne Drive, Gaithersburg, MD 20877 from 1:30-4:30.
Dana will kick off this meeting with a tutorial on continuous bias binding (thanks Dana!) Then we have a few exciting announcements regarding programming, and the big reveal of our Michael Miller Fabric Challenge projects! There will be a fabulous prize for the challenge project voted viewer's choice.
Due to increasing attendance, (which is awesome!) we need to phase out having sewing machines at our 3-hour Capital Quilts meetings. Of course we welcome and encourage any lap-sewing you want to bring, such as English paper piecing or hand-sewing your binding. Knitting too! For this meeting, we'll be setting up 4 sewing machine stations for those who just can't go a meeting without getting something done. If you would like to reserve one of these spots, please email us.
Remember, newcomers are always welcome at our meetings! Bring a little something for show and tell, or just bring yourself; you are welcome to attend 2 free meetings before deciding whether you'd like to join us.
See you all Saturday!
PS Bring snacks if you are so inclined!
