100 Quilts for Kids Blog Hop and 100 Quilts for Kids Reminders

There is still plenty of time to finish up your 100 Quilts for Kids donation and link it up here for a chance to win some great prizes. On October 1st, I'll also open up a linky on this blog just for DC Modern Quilt Guild members for a chance to win some special prizes I have set aside for the guild! I'll be collecting quilts for Carpenter's Shelter at our October meeting on the 4th at Capital Quilts (note: we still have slots open for the Betz White workshop that morning - see details here). If you can't make that meeting or won't have finished up yet, just get in touch with me and we'll figure out an alternative drop off.

Today, we're visiting one of our newer members, Liz, at her blog Beadqueene's Bits and Baubles. Some of us got to see this as a work in progress when Liz was working on this quilt during our annual charity sewing day last Saturday.
