We're looking for a few good people!

Have you ever wondered about how DCMQG events and activities are planned?  Are you interested in being an integral part of this organization that we all love so much?  Consider running for the board!  
We are looking for a few enthusiastic, organized, willing members to run for positions on our board this year.  Board positions are described in section C. of the by-laws, but are summarized below.  Board members will hold their positions for a 1 year (from January 1st-December 31st), and may continue in the same position for up to two years.  


  1. President. The President shall: establish vision, create committees, oversee necessary activities for the guild to function, contribute to communications, preside over board meetings, etc.


  1. Vice-President. The Vice President shall: assist the president in all tasks, contribute to communications, perform duties as delegated by the president.


  1. Secretary. The Secretary shall: Contribute to communcations, record guild activities and accomplishments, maintain membership roster, ensure minutes are taken at committee and board meetings.


  1. Treasurer. The Treasurer shall be the chief accounting and financial officer of the Guild and shall: collect dues, control accounts and finances of the guild, pay invoices, contribute to communciations.


Once the vote is in, the current board members will be available to assist the new board members in getting acclimated to their new roles.
