Well, it's already a month later, but better late than never, right? ;-) On April 17th, Carolyn Friedlander was in town for a fun day of needle-turn applique and a trunk show of quilt eye-candy. I think it's safe to say that everyone who attended learned something new or had a great time, or both!
Since pictures say a thousand words, I'll let them speak for themselves. The only thing I didn't get good pictures of was the pop-up shops at the trunk show; but, believe me, Del Ray Fabrics, Finch Knitting and Sewing Studio, and suZquilts all satisfied our fabric urges that evening!

We can't thank Carolyn enough for being such a gracious teacher and guest of our guild! I know her work will continue to inspire many of our members in their quilty endeavors.
